Team Mitsubishi Motor Sports America
2003 SCCA STPR ProRally: Pre-Race News & Notes

Team Mitsubishi Motor Sports America readies for STPR 2003.

Team Mitsubishi Motor Sports America enters the third stop on the SCCA ProRally circuit in excellent condition. Having gained victories at both SnoDrift and Rim of the World, the team is riding high on momentum. Both Lancer Evolution rally cars have been prepped and are ready for race day. Friday's only race activity was a press stage, run a few miles outside of Wellsboro. STPR defending champion David Higgins and co-driver Daniel Barritt looked fast as the Michelin rally tires confidently gripped road. Higgins was dominant at STPR last year, and the team is hoping for a strong performance tomorrow as well. Lauchlin O'Sullivan, who has already proven his skills this year, is excited to run his Lancer Evolution in the Pennsylvania forest with Christian Edstrom guiding the way. Saturday will see lots of action and a new champion crowned. We can only hope that at the end of the day, it's Mitsubishi standing at the top of the podium.
